  • Where are we?

We are located on the first floor at 28 St Thomas Place, Ely, CB7 4EX

  • Can you get to us by public transport?

Absolutely, we are a 10 min walk from Ely Train Station and a 20 minute walk from the Bus Station on Market Street.

  • What are your opening times?

We are open Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:30

  • Can I book the space or Podcast studio out of hours?

Yes, you can book a meeting room, the whole venue, or the Podcast studio for a private event out of hours. A member of our staff will have to be on site during this.

  • Do you have Decaf coffee and tea?

Yes – we will always have 2 different types of coffee available and 1 will always be decaf. We also have a selection of decaf, herbal and regular teas.

  • How do I book a desk?

To make a booking, you first need to set yourself up as a member (completely free!!) over on our booking system and then you can pick the day you want to book.

  • Do you have parking?

We have very limited free parking on site which is on a first come first serve basis. There is a long stay carpark 3 minutes from the office and some on road parking. We do ask that you do not use any parking spaces clearly marked for other businesses in the area and you park respectfully of others

  • What does a day pass get me?

A day pass gets you full access to a “hot desk” of your choice in either one of our meeting rooms or in our main open plan office. You also get your teas and coffees included throughout your visit and access to our high-speed WiFi.

  • Is there somewhere I can make private/confidential calls?

Yes, we have a privacy pod in the office which is available throughout the day which includes a standing desk with stool, a power supply and a wireless phone charger.

  • Can I bring my own food?

We do have a fully functional kitchen area with fridge and microwave along with some crockery and cutlery – we just ask you take home whatever you have brought in with you when you leave and you keep the kitchen clean for other guests.

  • Do I need to book a desk even if I am a monthly member?

Yes, you still need to book your desk for each visit.

  • Can I book my desk in advance?

Yes you can, you can book as many visits as you need in advance

  • How do I get a quote for a private function / room booking?

You come and talk to us in the office or you can email us at hello@elyworkcollective.co.uk

  • Is the site wheelchair accessible?

Of course! We have disabled parking at the front of the building and a wheelchair lift to our offices.
